Leiomyoma Combined with Pseudodiverticulum in the Esophagus

Abstract
|
|
|
This is a report of leiomyoma combined with Pseudodiverticulum in the esophagus. The patient had suffered from epigastric discomfort and vomiting for about 7 years.
The esophagogram showe i that a child fist sized well demarkated contrast retention was seen in the distal esophagi s a little posteriorly and left laterally and slight dilatation was also noted in the lower esophagus. A huge diverticulum on the distal esophagus was suspected with x-ray findings and clinical features. ~j
On March 17, 1980 a thoracotomy was performed and segmental resection of the esophagus including tumor mass was taken. It was diagnosed as a leiomyoma of the .esophagus.
